Turiyo Foundation is empowering local women from ChauddhaChuli, Purba Medinipur, to revive different heritage food products, starting with the most delicate and one with the richest heritage – Gohona Bori. Urging them to behave like entrepreneurs in their journey from production planning to packaging and sales, this project is transformational in nature putting the control of the entire project directly in the hands of the community.
